Baldev’s Dental Clinic offers a number of options for those looking for teeth whitening in Newbury and the surrounding area. The process works as the below:
For Enlighten Whitening – a one hour in chair boost session is required to complete the whitening process.
Teeth whitening is one of the most effective ways of improving your smile quickly and effectively. Teeth whitening works through the use of special gels which interact with the tooth surface and remove the surface staining and discolouration. At Baldevs Dental Care we have 2 teeth whitening options – Boutique and Enlighten.
Enlighten is the only whitening system on the market which guarantees up to 16 shades whiter. It works by increasing the permeability of the tooth surface to oxygen which helps break down the stain molecules on the tooth surface.
Customised whitening trays are provided which allows for future top ups as the syringes can be purchased at a later date to top up the whitened teeth.
Boutique Whitening £395
Enlighten Whitening £595
No. Most people experience some hot and cold sensitivity for the 2 weeks of whitening. The dentist will discuss if you are at a higher risk of this and go through the best ways to reduce this
No, tooth whitening is a completely non-destructive way to improve a smile. No damage is done to the teeth during the process as long as it is carried out by a specially trained dentist.
The effects of the whitening are visible for about a year or so. However, we recommend topping up the bleaching one night in every month to maintain the colour.
Enlightens trays are made using a different process – this leads to very very accurately fitting bleaching trays which can lead to a higher level of bleaching. Enlighten whitening also includes a 1 hour boost session after the 2 weeks.
